Attention female O&P practitioners! Ossur recognizes that more and more women are entering the O&P industry. This means that there is an increased opportunity for more female leaders in our field! Ossur is excited to support this with a new leadership development group specifically for female practitioners. We have some great ideas of ways we can contribute, but would like to get your honest feedback regarding your level of interest in this group and how we can best provide education and support. Hence, we have developed a VERY short interest survey and would genuinely appreciate you taking the time to complete it. The survey is brief and should only take one or two minutes to complete. It is completely anonymous so you can feel comfortable providing honest responses.
The goals of the Ossur Women's Leadership Initiative are strictly professional and focus on leadership and industry equality. Our goals are:
1) To provide a forum for discussion and education in order to develop and strengthen the leadership skills of female O&P practitioners
2) To increase the volume of female leaders within the O&P industry
3) To encourage fairness and equality in the O&P workplace
4) To eliminate conscious and unconscious gender biases in the workplace
5) To create a positive, balanced perception of both male and female industry leaders

Our Mission: Ossur Women's Leadership Initiative seeks to encourage and support independent O&P practices by providing a forum for discussion and education with the goal of developing and strengthening the leadership skills of female O&P practitioners. As a result, we hope to increase the volume of female leadership within the O&P industry, encourage fairness and equality in the workplace of O&P, eliminate conscious or unconscious gender biases in the workplace, and create a positive, balanced perception of both male and female industry leaders.
