Dear List Serve
I need your help! In speaking with colleages from different regions I have
realized that postoperative care in prosthetics is very different across the
country. It was very interesting for me to see that in one area the majority
of doctors saw something as a necessity, but that same device was deemed as
pointless in other areas. That led me to focus my residency research project
on postoperative care for amputees, particularly for transtibial amputees. I
am very interested in what trends determine what postoperative care is used,
and if it truly has logical support.
I have created a survey to collect this data from across the profession for
transtibial amputations. If you have a minute to complete this survey for
your area, I would be very appreciative. The survey is short(7 questions)
and should not take more than 5 minutes. There is also an area to enter your
e-mail address if you would be interested in seeing the final results. I
understand that we are all very busy, so If you have a few minutes to help
with this project I again would be very grateful.
Please click on the following link to access the survey, or copy and paste
the web address.
