Dear Colleagues:
I have a client that has been having problems with distal blisters
occurring on her distal end. The blisters occur on either side of a
small 1/4 invagination of her scar. I have the patient on a TSB
socket using a tec simplicity liner with suction suspension. I have
had her in an elevated vacuum socket also but the problem was still
present so I took her out of the vacuum. I have verified multiple
times that I have total contact with no voids to pull blisters. Does
anyone have any thoughts as too what could be causing the blisters? I
am assuming it is due to the invagination but if anyone has any other
thoughts I would gladly take them. Also any ideas on ways to prevent
the blisters from occuring.
Thank you for your time
