responses : Dictation service

Text:

My thanks to all of you who responded to my dictation service post. The
responses are below without names from the senders. My signature
David Falk, LPO, CPO ( pre give away) caused many replies, all except one,
favorable. To clear the air, I do not use the (pre give away) on my business
cards or in any other fashion except for when posting on this list.
Unfortunately most physicians and patients don't know what any of these letters
mean. But, we do. When I am communicating to my peers on this list, I feel it
is important for you to know who I am. Also, I am still wounded for what the
ABC did. The plan obviously was a failure. Thanks again for your responses!

Your post-script was wonderful!

Saw your listing yesterday - We have run the gamut of medical transcription
companies, from one called medicaltranscription.org (based in NY) to farming
it out to India (Accuswift) - I highly DO NOT recommend either -
We are currently using a transcriptionist based in Alaska - She is
excellent and knows O&P terminology b/c of her many years of doing our transcription
- Her pricing is extremely reasonable compared to what we have paid in the
past (she charges per line - Not sure about the all inclusive fee your
attorney pays - Have never come across that one) and the quality we are now
receiving is top notch - She accommodates us in any way we need and I highly
recommend her -
Everything is transferred in an encrypted format via an FTP site - Voice
files to her (our practitioners/assistants use digital voice recorders) and Word
documents back to us (Winzip format) with our logo and address on top of
note - Often times, notes are back the same day the voice file is uploaded,
maybe b/c of four hour time difference (she's behind us four hours).
If you are interested, her contact information is:

Consider Dragon Naturally Speaking 8.0 dictation software.

I use a dictation service in Greenville NC. They do
medical dictation. You call their 800 #, dictate and
they email it back within 24 hrs. I have used them
for 5 years now and would not think of changing. It
is a cost of 12 cent a line I believe. If you are
interested you can contact them at 252-355-0606, ask
for Gigi and she can answer any questions you may
have. Hope this helps!

CPO (pre give away)
Very funny, I like it.
I may use that, if you don't mind.
, LPO/CPO (me too)

Your post-script was wonderful!

We use Quno Solutions with good results and reasonably priced. Dictation
ready for review online very early AM the following day.

Why don't you just use LPO instead of the redundant, repetitive,
duplicitous, reiterative LPO, CPO (pre give away)? Licensure has superceded
certification anyway and all the letters after a person's name looks rather
ostentatious. Good products don't need advertising!

I have a service that the lady uses micro cassettes and charges per line. I
use a small recorder and have about a dozen tapes that I keep on hand. I
usually turn the dictations in weekly.

I use a service which also emails it back to us. It is aobut 15 cents a
line. Where in the world can you get unlimited for $60/mos? That sounds like a
bargain.

I liked your signature comment. When interviewing I have to ask are you
the real ABC or a convert.
