Hello Joan - the title of my post is the question underlying the discussion
which seemed to be about the secondary matter of mode of reference. This is a
matter which stirs up much anxiety among practitioners but WHICH MUST BE
ADDRESSED if this effort is to step its way into full and acknowledged
professional status. 'Certification' cannot be equated with trial and error
as the norm of practice.....and the remedy for this is thorough-going
professional residency under practitioners of recognized ability. So to try to
divert the group to other topics without recognizing that this central topic
still stands here to be resolved is quite short sighted. George Boyer.
