We have been hearing (sorry- reading) a lot of heated discussions about
customer/patient/client etc issue.
Did any of you fighting individuals take time to look up the definition of
patient. Clinton referred to Merriam-Webster's for definition of sex,
didn't he?

Here it is:

Main Entry: patient
Function: noun
Date: 14th century
1 a : an individual awaiting or under medical care and treatment b : the
recipient of any of
various personal services
2 : one that is acted upon

As far as calling someone a patient being offensive, well anything can be
offensive to some people.
Some don't like to be called handicapped or disabled, does it mean that to
be politically correct, we all need to start calling all our PATIENTS
physically challenged individuals? A bit too much, don't you think?
