Hi,
I have a client diagnosed to have cerebral palsy and is 14 years of age. He
has not achived the sitting milestone and the physio is trying to gain that.
I was called upon to try and find out a solution for his feet which are
hyperpronated and his lower limbs which have marked external tibial torsion.
He has no neck and trunk stability and is always in lying position. I am
expected to do something for his lower limbs. Can you suggest if there is
anything a P&O could do to help the patient apart from a seating device
which he already has. My ideas go in favour of a derotation foot board with
pressure pads. I am still unclear of method of tackling the ankle valgus.
Please could you/ anyone feed me with ideas.
Thanky you all in advance,
Srivatsa
