Hello forum members! I am a student researcher at the University of Pittsburgh’s Master’s program for O&P. As a part of my Capstone project, I am researching prosthesis abandonment in trans-metatarsal amputees who have had their amputation due to diabetes complications. This is an all-multiple-choice survey. The estimated duration of participation is 5 minutes. There are no risks associated with participation. The common risk of breach of confidentiality is addressed by not collecting identifiable or sensitive information to begin with. Data from this study will only be reported in aggregated form so that information cannot be traced back to individual participants. You have the right to withdraw from the study at any point in time and data that is collected until that point will be used. The de-identified data may be shared with University of Pittsburgh researchers in the future. There is no compensation, financial or otherwise, for participating in this study. In the event of questions or concerns, please contact me, the principal investigator, Katelyn Jeter at <Email Address Redacted>
