AMPRO test scoring question

Text:
In an effort to be accurate and impartial with Ampro, items 4 and 5
seem unclear to me as to scoring. #5 says that if the amputee failed
in the 1st attempt, item 4, to rise without using arms, ignore that
attempt and allow another. However, it doesn't say if a score is given
in item 4 or not. So if in the first attempt the amputee arose using
one arm, a 1 point score on item 4, is that considered a failure and no
score is given, or does the 1 score remain and item 5 is scored
according to the second attempt result?
Thanks,
Lane Ferrin CP
