Patient-reported outcome measures play an important role in understanding upper limb (UL) prosthetic users' experiences. The US Food and Drug Administration's Human-Device Interaction Program< <URL Redacted> > is leading an online PRO survey study to gather UL prosthetic users' perspectives. In the survey, patients are asked basic demographic information such as level and side of amputation and to evaluate their perceived function, satisfaction with their prosthetic devices, and pain. The survey takes less than 20 minutes to complete. To find out more about the research study motivation, goals, and data use, click HERE< <URL Redacted> >.
To maximize broad patient participation, we are seeking assistance with dissemination of this recruitment notice. Please ask current/former patients to contact Dr. Kimberly Kontson ( <Email Address Redacted> <mailto:<Email Address Redacted>>) or call (301)796-4990 if interested. Participants who complete the survey will be entered into a lottery to win a $20 gift card as compensation.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
