Hello everyone,
It’s been over four weeks since I posted my survey request regarding bullying, mobbing and harassment. I have closed the link and I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the overwhelming response to the survey. As promised, I am providing the initial findings however there is so much more to unpack (quantitative and qualitative) from the responses that it will be some time before I finish. Part one will focus on the descriptive statistics along with some of the NEQ-R responses while part two will focus on the comments section. According to survey monkey, 341 participants took the survey and here is what I have so far:
Gender
Female: 147 responses (43.11%)
Male: 194 responses (55.1%)
Survey monkey stated 100% completion rate however upon further review 14 responses were not complete. Some only used the comment section( 2 people) and some did not answer all the questions on the NEQ-R (12 people). Most of those decided to avoid the question on physical violence.
Generation
Baby Boomer: 68 responses (19.94%). 2 incomplete, Female: 9, Male: 59
Generation X: 151 responses (44.28%) 6 incomplete, Female: 60, Male: 85
Millennials: 122 responses (35.78%) 6 incomplete, Female: 69, Male: 47
Academic background
High School: 23 responses (6.76%)
BS and certificate of training: 177 responses (52.06%)
BS in O &P: 40 responses (11.76%)
MPO.MSPO: 82 responses (24.12%)
Technician/Assistant: 6 responses (1.76%)
No formal program: 12 responses (3.53%)
NEQ-R Responses
It was rather clear that even through a pandemic this year plus restricted to the past six months, the NEQ-R responses painted a picture of bullying, mobbing, and harassment activity. Summarizing the overall responses, the top five questions that produced the most evidence of bullying, mobbing, and harassment traits were as follows:

The one question asking about physical threats or workplace violence was telling. Even though 96% of the respondents selected never, 4% still mentioned occasionally or weekly they were subjected to physical threats. I had hoped the response would be 100% never.
Breakdown by Gender (Overall)
Male: 69.5% of overall NEQ-R responses were in the never category
20.3% Occasionally
3.8% Monthly
4% Weekly
2.2 % Daily
Female: 62.7% of overall NEQ-R responses were in the never category.
21.7% Occasionally

Anecdotal observations show the female responses to be more active in the past six months compared to the male population for trends of bullying, mobbing, and harassment, I still need to establish statistical significance. Future analysis includes individual question breakdown by gender, what generation reported the most trends for bullying, mobbing, and harassment plus, analyzing what education level reported the highest activity. I need more time to load into software. Part two will report on the comments section.
