Dear colleagues,
One of my student groups in a course I teach with the George Brown College Prosthetic and Orthotic programs is doing a project around the topic of patient/client hygiene of their prostheses or orthoses. They are looking to better understand how patients care for their devices, how they learned about device care/hygiene and what resources are available to them.
The students have put together a very short survey that is targeted to users and is anonymous. The survey is very quick to complete and has only 8 shorts questions which should take no longer than 3 minutes to complete. The link to the survey is:
<URL Redacted> < <URL Redacted> >
If you have a channel or way of distributing this survey to users of P&O devices, we would very much appreciate any assistance we could get in doing so.
NOTE TO PROFESSIONALS: The students are also looking for any input from your perspective as it relates to the importance of device hygiene. This topic has obviously become more relevant and important with the current global pandemic. So, if you have any input and thoughts you could share with us around how you deal with this issue, educate your patients, and related this would be of high value to the students for their project. Please respond directly this email address or even better, you can also send directly to either Madeline Andru ( <Email Address Redacted> <mailto:<Email Address Redacted>>) and/or Victoria Elliott ( <Email Address Redacted> <mailto:<Email Address Redacted>>).
Thank you for any assistance and support you can offer the students around this project.
Sincere regards, Dan
