Hello everyone,

I would like to get your feedback as to how long it should take a licensed CP/CPO to start and finish with a bk patient. I realize the answers might vary but can you please give me an average of what you think is an appropriate timeline? There are no wrong answers.

Please include :

1.) Time it takes to do your initial eval / casting visit for a bk patient, including the time it takes to do your notes.
2.) Time it takes to modify your impression.
3.) Time it takes to do an inital fitting of the bk prosthesis, including the time it takes do your notes.
4.) Time it takes do see the patient for your definitive delivery visit, including the time it takes do your notes.

I realize a k1 and a k4 are different, but we could probably stay between a k1 and a k3 in your estimates.

Please provide your thoughts and please add in any other customary / necessary steps that I may have left out.

Thank you for your time,

Dan Rinella, CO
