i have a very active bk pt in his mid 30s who is a police officer, runs
bloodhounds, and dives for the search and rescue team. he is in his leg on
an average of 10+ hours a day and the problems that we are having is
durability and him sweating. i have him in a pin suspension now and he
likes the security of knowing that his leg is locked. he has tried the
suction suspension but did not like the bulkiness around his knee. we have
tried the smartemp liners but those did not hold up to his active level and
i was replacing them every 4-6 months. we also tried the ossur sport, but
they put something like icy hot in the liner and caused some irritation to
his leg. i am open to suggestions. Thanks!
