Analysis of Elevated Vacuum Suspension Systems for Transtibial Prostheses
Attention Certified Prosthetists. This is Will Stuart, from the University of Pittsburgh and I am working on a research study that is investigating elevated vacuum suspension systems for transtibial prostheses. This survey is directed towards eligible prosthestists who have experience working with elevated vacuum suspension systems. It contains questions on different elevated vacuum suspension systems. This survey hopes to identify the different mechanisms used by practitioners when casting, fitting, and delivering these systems. The survey will also serve to compare and contrast different elevated vacuum suspension systems, and identify in what way they can be improved. Your experience in utilizing elevated vacuum suspension makes your opinion very valuable. We would like to ask you some questions to help us analyze these products and identify how their effectiveness can be improved. These questions should take no more than 15 minutes to answer.
If you choose to participate, you will be asked general questions about your professional experience with elevated vacuum suspension systems. By completing the survey you are entering for a chance to win a $100 prepaid debit card. The lucky winner of this gift card will be randomly selected after the survey has been completed.
There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. Your name and any identifiable information will not be recorded with your answers, and so your responses will not be identifiable in any way. All responses are confidential, and results will be kept under password protected files. Your participation is completely voluntary and it is okay if you choose not to participate.
The deadline for the completion of this survey is Wednesday February 10th 2016. If you are interested in participating in this survey please click on the link below:
