Good Morning Everyone!
I have recently been inundated with requests for continuous AK covers
for a few patients with microprocessor knees (mostly Plie 3 and C-Leg 3).
I'm looking to find any suggestions, ideas or new products that would help
make this process a lot easier. The patients that are requesting the covers
are very thin women who have no interest in a Unyq/Alleles/Etc type design.
I have toyed around with creating a removable foam continuous cover using
strategic placement of fiberglass shells and velcro within the foam to hold
it in place. This was acceptable for one patient, however the others (Plie
3 users) insist on a permanent, continuous cover. Any information or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
