I'm starting to plan a running prosthesis for a patient using the revolimb system by boa www.revolimb.com< <URL Redacted>> The revolimb laces through a laminated frame and as you tighten it it will compress cut out panels inward to tighten the fit of the socket.

Right now I am trying to plan the thermoplastic socket material and valve options. The thermoplastic requirements are

- Pliable enough to be compressed by the lacing but stiff enough to not crease and pinch

- Smooth inner surface to allow easy donning with liner

- Even thickness from distal to proximal to allow the panels to compress evenly

We commonly use Northvane and duraflex which could do the trick but I wanted to see if anyone had other options.

I'm also looking for a small valve to be used in the plastic insert for a seal-in liner. A sleeve will be used as auxiliary suspension (if needed).

If you have anything to add in terms of design options please let me know!
