Who made your career possible?

As 2015 comes to a close I want to ask that each of us remembers the organization that help us enter this profession we love and that has provided us with both professional and financial rewards.

If each of us would make a small donation to the schools that taught us and that continue to teach tomorrow's O&P professionals it would make a world of difference in the future of profession.

As a graduate of the University of Washington I urge all of my fellow UW alumni to make a donation to the Prosthetics and Orthotics Education and Training Fund .

For those who graduated from other programs NCOPE offers links to all the existed accredited programs.

The fact that some of you attended schools that no longer exist demonstrates why this kind of support from the profession is important. If your school is closed I encourage you to adopt one of the new programs that does not yet have a mature pool of graduates and do what you can to help them survive and thrive.

Wishing everyone good health, good luck, and sucess in all your endeavors for the coming year.
