Hello List,

I would like to know what variety of casting tape others are using for
removable rigid dressings for our new below knee amputees? RRDs are part
of the protocol at our rehabilitation facility and the product we use
has changed its formula, making it extremely difficult to roll over the
distal end of patients' residuums. We have been using STS Company, 17
Casting Sock, Extra-Large, 1003-S. I am reluctant to use plaster of
paris for anyone with a swollen stump, due to the weight and dusty mess.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers,

Kris
