Hello All,
It is with a heavy heart that I would to announce the passing of Johnnie Yocham, CPO, on Sunday, October 26th.. I met Johnnie as a young army recruit in 1982. He was the primary instructor of the Orthotic Specialist course in the US Army. Our paths intertwined over the years and he spent the last few working with me. I loved and respected the man, who he was and what he stood for. I will miss him. In the end he was diagnosed with cancer and it took him quickly.
It is because of Johnnie that I was able to get certified as an orthotist. He was instrumental in establishing an ABC accredited program, as I've mentioned before on this list.
