I evaluated a patient a couple of months ago for an RGO with stance control
knee joints. When I called Horton, they still had and were selling the
Horton knee joints. Insurance made it difficult for the patient, but it was
finally approved.
When I called to order the joints today, I was told that they had
discontinued it. They were unsure if and when they would manufacture the
joint again.
Does anyone have a NEW set (right lateral and left lateral) they did NOT
use?
My patient has fought the good fight and won the battle with the insurance
company only to hit a totally unexpected road block... any help from the
list serve would be greatly appreciated.
