I am working with an occupational therapist with an infant who is nine months old with Erb's palsy. She is having some difficulty crawling with limited use of her right arm and the OT has approached me regarding any orthotic intervention that can help with arm positioning DURING CRAWLING. I am interested if anyone has addressed anything similar and can provide input of what has been successful/unsuccessful. She already has a hand splint fabricated by the OT to keep her hand from folding under her when crawling but the lack of elbow and shoulder positioning also limits her ability to crawl. The child has developed a modified crawl which I have included a link to a video to get your brain going.

She has active elbow extension, no active flexion, active wrist flexion/extension and finger flexion/extension. Minimal supination and minimal shoulder movement but no shoulder subluxation.
