Can anyone direct me to any Randomized Controlled Studies that have been published for elevated vacuum that show the technology to be beneficial? They need to be just that: Randomized Controlled Studies.

Aetnas' Medical Policy states that Elevated Vacuum is an Experimental/Investigative technology and they will not pay for L5781/L5782.

Aetnas' Medical Director told me their Clinical Policy Committee last reviewed all the available research on elevated vacuum technology in October 2013 and because they did not find any Scientific Randomized Controlled Study/Studies, they still consider this technology to be Exp/Invest.

All the best,
