Dear listserv members,
I apologize for the release of a message that contained a tasteless response. It is my responsibility to filter all of the messages which I routinely do.
Today I was using a new web based interface for management and moderation of the messages and literally hit the wrong button and could not undo it fast enough.
The original author of the response was removed from the listserv, and the person who summarized the responses was counseled as well for not helping in self moderation during the summary process.
In 18 years there have only been a few slips, this possibly being the worst. I again apologize for the offensive language being slipping through the cracks.
