A therapist has asked about a toe-cap type of device used to reduce
friction when a client's toe drags on floor prior to obtaining an AFO. I
remember seeing this advertised but cannot locate a supplier.
A quick summary of responses is included below. No one was familiar with
the exact device I was picturing, but there are multiple good ideas. Thanks
to all who responded.
1. Shoe modifications, with leather, plastic, or epoxy adhered to the sole.
2. Socks pulled over toe of shoe.
3. Shear Ban on surface of sole.
4. Curling or bowling supply stores. Two people identified curling
