Are you an up and coming Upper Limb Specialist or would you be interested in meeting practitioners on the cutting edge of Upper Limb Prosthetic technology?
We invite you to join the Upper Limb Prosthetics Society (ULPS) after the Upper Limb Free Papers (Program Codes F12- F15) for our annual society business meeting this Thursday evening at 6:45 in room number 202 in the Atlanta Hilton. We'll be offering beer and soft drinks in a meet and greet format, giving us the opportunity to present some new ideas for the society.
The entire ULPS is excited about it's new direction called the Upper Limb Prosthetics Clinical Specialist Initiative (ULPCSI). The ULPCSI is an undertaking that will promote expertise, competence and professionalism within the field of Upper Limb Clinical Prosthetics, and eventually may develop into a credential for practitioners who have gone above and beyond in order to complete the program. The initiative will provide educational webinars, Online Learning Center modules as well as develop a host of other dynamic learning resources to be accessed by students, residents, surgeons, the general practitioner and prosthetic specialists looking to augment their body of knowledge. Come to the business meeting for a brief presentation on the ULPCSI and to meet some of the clinicians on the cutting edge of Upper Limb Prosthetic technology.
Additionally, remember to join us for the ULPS coordinated symposium on Friday morning from 8:15-9:45 titled: Upper Limb Amputee Rehabilitation: It's not just the hand, or is it? The symposium will discuss upper limb transplantation, replantation and prosthetic options that are technologically relevant.
Best Regards ,
