I was utterly surprised to see a non-emergency *guillotine amputation
performed in New York in the 21st century! See photos here: *

*
*The patient is avascular, diabetic, 70-something years old. The
physicians, although *agreeing that a revision is the best option, do not
recommend general anesthesia once again * due to other co-morbidities. *
*
*
*What are your suggestions as to the design of the socket?*
*
*
*Thank you.*
*Stephan*
