Dear List -
I'm trying to learn as much as I can about older leather socket and
gauntlet fabrication as a way to inform new socket designs that may
let us escape the epoxy and liner paradigm (which I describe as
wearing wooden shoes with rubber socks).
I would very much appreciate it if anyone who is, or who knows any
prosthetists or fabricators with significant experience in this area
could send along any information that they may have, or contact info
if they might be willing to talk to me.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Best,
Jon
