Hello
after the kind advice shared about HD short ak recently
I am very interested in hearing advice other prosthetists might be willing
to share with following presentations.
We have a bilateral amputee who is a right very short transfemoral and
conventional TT on the left.
He has used for 20 years.
AKN w/ HIP JOINT leather waist belt , hard socket ,lock
knee and single axis foot
BKN joints corset hard socket S/A foot
He was referred with a rx for Bilateral prosthesis.
He has approximately 60 degrees of right hip ROM femur length is 3.5
inches.
Left Bk is unremarkable, has usual effects of JC
He reports being ready for something new. Very tired of manually holding AKN
on w/ his hand
Looking at using 3s sockets
