I was wondering how everybody is laminating artwork on prosthetic
sockets...technique, materials, tricks/tips etc... what are techs using for
the best possible finish? I have a patient that wants a custom design on
his socket of a crying eagle with the American flag(it has a personal
political meaning to him)....after looking around I found a website
(customink.com) that allows you to customize a t-shirt. You can use their
graphics and design from scratch or find a picture online and upload it. I
was helped by a lady (Susan Lines X131) who walked me through the process.
Now that I have my design...what is the best way to laminate this on the
front of a standard BK socket with a carbon fiber look all around.
I will post responses.
