Is is with much sadness that I report that one of our most respected
professional colleagues has passed away. Daniel G. (Dan) Rowe, CPO
passed away on Wednesday morning, June 23, 2010, following complications
from Alzheimer's. He was 75. Visitation will be held at Roseville
Memorial Chapel, 2245 North Hamline Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, 55113
from 5-8 PM on Monday, June 28, 2010. A private service for family and
close personal friends will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. In lieu
of flowers, the family has requested that memorial gifts be sent to
either the Shriner or Alzheimer Association.
Dan was a dear and welcomed friend to many in our profession. He served
as President of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA)
during the 1977-78 term. He was truly one of the gentlemen among us and
will be missed by his family and many friends in our profession.
