Good morning everyone

I guess, I have touched an interesting concept with my question yesterday.
At least, almost all who replied call it that way.

Consensus is - no, we do not pay, or we never were paid for it. From that
point on, there are various concepts and justifications for this or that. In
general, it appears to be a novel idea in the field, though, well accepted
in other health care fields.

Thank you all for your insights. They are most appreciated.

Sincerely

I. Lesko, LPO

Original post from yesterday:

*Hello everyone.*
*I know it is different in private practices, but for those that work for
larger facilities/corporations - I have a question. *
*Is it an accepted practice to reimburse practitioner for
mentoring/supervising a resident? My wife is paid a differential for every
hour she is spending with an out of college graduate that is going through
internship. But that is in a hospital system, and she's RN.
*
