Hi all,

Thank you for all of the responses.

Here are a few of the many:

-do not treat hole; it usually doesn't fray
-cut x in fabric
-use buttonhole stitch, zigzag, or a serger to finish
-Tummy Tunnels (google it) has cute patches for sale with openings for tube
-Coyote Design's silicon was highly recommended
-someone asked me why I didn't take Home Ec in H.S. :)
-Dritz Fray-Check, available at Walmart, was also recommended
-other misc contact cement/glues used in combo with cow hide or elastic
patches also mentioned

Thanks for your time, everyone.
