Hello everyone,
I'm working with a gentleman who is an average length BK with some
previous pistoning problems due to redundant tissue. I've fit him with
the seal in liner very successfully and he loves it. He has some knee
instability due to ligament injuries in the past and needs to have joint
and corset added. I usually do a thin rigid thigh section with OB
joints. My problem is the length of the liner leaves it ending at the
mid-thigh (also mid-corset) and I would rather leave it long to avoid
impingement with the bending of the thigh and calf section. I'm
thinking of a proximal soft sock or something to make sure there is not
a skin issue under the thigh section with the transition of the liner
ending.
Has anyone run into this problem and found a solution while still using
the seal-in specifically?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
