Hey folks,
We have a patient running on a flex run foot and the swing phase vibration
of the foot goes right up the pylon into the socket and to the patient's
limb. The patient does not like the vibration (imagine that) and so we're
looking for a way to damp that vibration without affecting the foot
performance. The patient has a congenital limb difference rendering a
transfemoral limb length. The patient runs with a very thin liner and no
knee. We tried using different pylon materials but that didn't make any
noticeable difference in vibration transmission. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brent Benton
