Hello everyone,

I'm sending out a request with very short notice and would really appreciate
any help possible.

We have been invited to help set up a complete O&P lab to aid the amputees
in Haiti in conjunction with Mission of Hope (MOH) and the Austin Medical
Relief for Haiti group. MOH has been part of the relief efforts, but has
also been present in Haiti for 12 years. Chase Brown, CPO, and Al Ingersoll,
CP are on the ground in Haiti evaluating the situation and reporting back to
me nightly.

We are in desperate need of equipment that will have to be on a transport by
Monday so that we can begin treating patients by April 1ST. We have all the
shipping set up already. All we need is the equipment!

Of utmost urgency, is the need for a 4X4 OTS oven for 208/240 volt electric.
This seems to be the one thing that is going to be the most difficult item
to get in a short period of time. We will be ordering ICRC kits for AK's and
BK's to begin the process. Once everything is up and running, our goal is
for practitioners to teach the locals to treat and fabricate orthotics and
prosthetics independently in a fully functioning lab.

Thank you to all that have donated their time and lifted their prayers for
the people of Haiti.

Looking forward to any help possible.

Mark Kirchner CPO
