We have a 3 year old male s/p transfemoral amputation secondary to trauma
from a riding lawn mower 4 weeks ago. Patient has multiple skin grafts and
is healing well. Questions- Should we start him off with a locking knee
and progress into an articulating knee? Or just start with an articulating
knee? If so, what type of knee?
Thanks, Megan McKenney CO
