Dear List,

Over the last year, I have given a few talks about my experience in product
development. Those of you that attended know how upset I have been over big
businesses pressure; and the subsequent government direction that would
destroy the US Patent office.

The details take time to understand, but the resulting change in the law
would reduce the value of US patents for everyone in O&P. I would be happy
to provide any level of detail that you would like.

HR 1908 (which passed!) was considered a bi-partisan bill. It was obscure
enough so that the public would never really understand the vote, but the
congressmen could reward their big money suppliers. Now it sits as S.1145
waiting for Senate action.

You should know who is willing to vote yes to destroy American innovation
for campaign contributions. The roll call can be found on
www.clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/roll863.xml

Regards,

Ian Engelman, M.S. CPO
