The USOC has created the Athlete Speaker's Referral Network

public to request athlete speakers from the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic
Families for their events.
Organizations are encouraged to use this network to find an athlete
speaker for their event.

Register Now for the Hartford Ski Spectacular!
The Hartford Ski Spectacular

Breckenridge, Colorado December 7-14, 2008. Ski Spectacular is one of
the nation's largest winter sports festivals for people with physical
and visual disabilities.
Activities offered throughout the week include learn to ski and
snowboard lessons, a race camp, Level I (Corporate Challenge) and NorAm
races, nordic skiing, PSIA National Adaptive Academy for Instructors,
mentoring and other special events.

session proposals for the 2009 Developing Amazing Leaders Conference.

U.S. Paralympics would like to invite all interested speakers to submit
an education session proposal

for the 2009 Developing Amazing Leaders Conference. We are seeking
dynamic speakers and leaders who can share knowledge, experience and
best practice techniques related to the Paralympic movement including
coaching and sport specific training, program development and
recruitment, military programming and leadership development.
We are accepting proposals for concurrent sessions, which take place in
60 and 90 minute time blocks. Deadline for submission of proposals is
Friday, December 19, 2008.

Paralympic gold medalist and world record holder Jessica Galli will
visit Paralympic Sport - Las Vegas this month to help inspire and
motivate individuals with physical and visual disabilities to get active
in sports and recreation programs in their local community.
Coinciding with Galli's visit, Paralympic Sport - Las Vegas, a program
