Dear List

I have a TF patient that I have recently placed into a proflex liner and external frame. Has had basic acrylic suction sockets in the past but has had numerous problems with cysts and breakdown at proximal trimlines. She loves the new found flexibility of this new style but has a difficult time pulling in on her own. She has a lot of redundant tissue and will only pull in with a nylon stockinnette. Does not seat well with an Easy Proth. Another concern of hers is she says its painful to doff the socket for her skin adheres to the liner. My question is whether or not there is something to reduce the tackiness of this material to ease donning and doffing. She is not a huge fan of the powder routine either. Powder has helped but in excess and have tried enlarging the windows in the frame to reduce some of the tension in areas. Any suggestions or is it a fitting error on my end?

Thanks
