Thanks to all who responded to my question.? I have the Medicare policy regarding refusal of services thanks to a few people who emailed the clause.? Considering the wide variety of responses that I received, many facilities have similar issues.? There are specific accommodations under Medicare to address such a refusal of services for a custom device and still get paid. Many third party carriers have similar provisions.? I will post responses soon once I weed through them.? The bottom line is that there are provisions to get paid when patients refuse to accept custom services!
Thanks again,
