I recently cast a patient for a custom TLSO #6 per a physician prescription.
Once the TLSO was complete, patient was called to schedule fitting. In the
interim between casting and phone call, patient had a second opinion which
stated that she does not require bracing. As a result, patient does not
want to be fit with bracing. Am I able to bill the custom TLSO to their
insurance carrier? Does Medicare have a guideline and if so, where can I
find it. Thanks for all responses..
