What sorts of prosthetic designs are being used to control rotational
stability of transtibial sockets on patient's limbs for patients doing
things way above simple ambulation which have a lot of rotational
forces involved such as rock climbing, hiking on rough terrain,
horseback riding, sports with planting and turning, etc.? I have a
patient who would like to keep pin suspension for the freedom of knee
motion and secure suction but needs better rotational control in
certain, arduous activities. Thanks in advance.
