I just recently attended the limb logic course at OWW. While there we were shown some interesting above knee sockets with extremely low trim lines. The ischial tuberosity was not contained in these sockets and yet the patients gait on video was quite good. Since we were there to learn about transtibial applications using the limb logic not much was discussed about above knee applications. My question is if anyone is using vacuum systems on transfemorals with these radical trimlines and if so how do you prevent distal lateral femur pressure. If anyone has had success fitting in this fashion any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
