Hello Everyone,
I have been contacted by a local Wound Care Clinic that would like for
me to provide Unloading Devices to their patients with foot ulcers. The
center has a number of different Physicians (MD and DPM). They would
like ideas on the different devices that the O&P field can offer to
unload their patient's ulcers. They are looking for off-the-shelf items
if possible. They have used the DH-II shoes and boots without
satisfactory results.
I use a combination of different products (Bledsoe Conformer, Zero-G
Suspension Walker, etc.) Of course the custom items of PTBs and
Neuropathic Walkers.
Do you have additional recommendations for Off-the-Shelf items that I
can look at and possibly show them at their clinic?
Thanks in Advance,
Stephen Epperly, CO
