Dear list,
I am working with a young man who has bilateral upper extremity amputations. Patient is a young teen and very interested and active in wood working. Builds bird houses for his mother, forts, and other various small projects. I am looking for options and peoples experiences in potentially mounting a hammer. He has his carpals, metacarpals with flexion and extention at the wrist. Don't want to lock this out but not against it if this prosthesis need be for function. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
Mike CO, resident prosthetist
