<<Brian Pinkston.jpg>> Hello all. I have a patient that is 50 years old male and has been a left hemipelvectomy amputee for 40 years as a result of an amputation with wide margins for osteosarcoma in the left femur. The scoliosis developed at a young age and has progressively gotten worse. This patient wears a prosthesis all day every day and walks without aids. Current prosthesis consists of a Proflex inner socket with a Copoly frame, Littig hip unit, polycentric knee and a College Park Trustep foot. The inner socket incorporates body jacket technology to help control the scoliosis however there is a transverse process abuting against the Illium that appears to be the cause of the pain. I would be interested your thoughts on what may help alleviate this condition.

Thank you
Brian K. Pinkston C.P./L.P.
