Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the Houghton scale, but was
wondering
if you are you familiar with the Academy's State of the Science
conferences?
They did one in 2006 on Outcome Measures in Lower Limb Prosthetics, the
report of which is available on the web at

The report provides a very nice compilation of all the outcome measures
avaialable at that time for lower extremity prosthetics as well as
evaluations on their pros and cons. The PT you work with may find a
copy of
this report informative.
