Thank you all for the huge number – more than 30 – replies to my question.
The vast majority recommended Truform…many others mentioned Freeman – and
the Freeman company responded and was very informative and helpful.
Both of these companies have this item.
They were very helpful.
Thank you again.

Hello All,
Does anyone know of a supplier for a slip on or wrap around knee sleeve with
uprights and drop locks to lock into full extension?
I had someone come into the office looking for an exact or close replacement
for what they have used for years.
What they have is an elastic knee sleeve with metal uprights and metal
sleeve 'drop locks' that fall down to lock the uprights into full extension
until the sleeves are lifted to unlock the knee and allow sitting. The
device also has (and I am sure this is dating the device) - 2 leather straps
with buckles to tighten the device - 1 proximal and 1 distal to knee center.
Thank you for your help in advance.
