California List Serve Members-
The California Orthotics and Prosthetics Association has submitted
written comments for and will be attending the Department of Managed
Health Care's hearing on Issues Concerning Blue Cross of California
Since the 2004 Anthem-WellPoint Change in Control. COPA has met with
Department officials, as well as Director Ehnes, on several occasions to
prompt this type of public review of this insurer's conduct.
Anyone who would like to attend the hearing is welcome. It will be on
August 7th, from 10:00 A.M. until adjournment or 3:00 P.M. The address
for the hearing is: 320 W. 4th Street, Junipero Serra Building, Carmel
Room Auditorium, Los Angels, CA 90013.
